Due to Light Rail works, Alinga Street and Northbourne Avenue will be closed.

There is parking in the Regatta Point carpark or you can park in the city at the CIT or Canberra Olympic Pool carpark and walk to Ferry Gate.
Please note: Rond Terrace Car Park will be closed.
Extreme heat is likely over the Australia Day weekend, we recommend you stay hydrated, practice sun safety and attend the event at its coolest period.
All activities are going to be in the taking place in the shade to ensure a safe and fun celebration.
First aid will be available with a misting fan available if needed.
Cold drinks will be available for purchase throughout the event.

There will be a community sausage sizzle, which will be free for the first thousand attendees and gold coin donation thereafter. There will also be some food options, cold drinks and ice creams available to purchase from food stalls.
No, as Australia Day at Regatta Point is a family friendly event it will be alcohol free.
There will be some seating available, however we encourage you to bring your own picnic chairs or rugs.
There are public toilet facilites within Commonwealth Park and toilets are also available at the Canberra Region Visitors Centre during opening hours.
Yes, there will be a first aid tent located within the event site.
