Australia Day at Regatta Point
Join us to Reflect, Respect and Celebrate on Australia Day at Regatta Point (Ferry Gate) on 26 January from 10.30am - 2:30pm!
Come relax at the park and enjoy a community sausage sizzle, which will be free for the first thousand attendees.
There will be free family friendly activities including games, roving entertainment and live performances.
Summer in Canberra can get quite hot. We encourage all attendees to practice sun safety and stay hydrated. For more information, head to the FAQ page.

Program
Community BBQ:
10.30am - 2:30pm
Enjoy a sausage sizzle, which will be free for the first thousand attendees and a gold coin donation thereafter. Drinks and food will also be available from the food trucks onsite.
Entertainment:
10:30 am - 11:15 am: Lion and Dragon Dance & Martial Arts by Moonbear Kung Fu Academy and Canberra Dragon Dance
11:30 am - 12:00 pm: Traditional Chinese Dance by Red Cedar Traditional Chinese Dance Group
12:10 pm - 12:40 pm: K-Pop Dance by Dance Til Dawn (DTD) Studio
1:00 pm – 2:30 pm: Daybed Promises Live Band
Outdoor Games

There will be a range of free family friendly games on offer including an animal-themed ring toss, crossword trivia hunt and a giant thong throw.
Kids Activities

Badge making, giant thong throw and crossword trivia will be available and free for all to enjoy.
